I work a little differently from some other artists in this field. I very rarely draw guides unless requested, I feel as if I am short changing people when I do that, so I avoid it as often as possible. I am lucky as I work clairvoyantly during my drawings so I often end up with portraits of family members who have passed and occasionally of family members who are still here but not present during the reading. Sometimes all I end up with is endless pages of writing with no image at all. 

 

Like other spiritual workers, I have little control over the information coming through or where it comes from. Often I have sat through a reading passing information only to find the receiver a little disappointed because the wrong brother gave the information or Nan didn’t show up and on occasion a very recently passed person was expected back the day of the passing had nothing to say.

 

It makes for a variety of moments of laughter littered with tears and pain. Clairvoyance is not a position to take up lightly, often it is deeply unsettling as there is no control over what you see or the information you are given. It is very important to maintain your own character integrity as many people get a little above themselves. I understand this as I am often in awe of the wonderful things we humans are capable of  but I think it is nothing more than a potential that lives in all of us and develops in some.

I have been very lucky, I have worked with many Mediums, some famous most not so famous. I have worked as a medium doing ghost walks and spirit seeking with a local north west group. I spent a year running up and down the country sitting in the cold and dark passing on historical information some took a great deal of research to confirm but my friend Nicky did an outstanding job, she is a brilliant historian.

 

The photo opposite was taken at a haunted location that had a huge mirror in one of the upstairs rooms. We had members of a local radio show with us and Julie from the show took a photo. Nothing was visible at the time. It was not a flash and there was no visible light source in the room except the moonlight coming in through the window. At the time I was demonstrating a skill called scrying. It is when the spirit energy changes you features in a mirror. I am so glad that when something like this happens people send me the photo’s it just strengthens my faith.
