INTANGIBLE ASSETS

A bit of philosophy taken from a recently completed unpublished manuscript  (by me)

There is nothing supernatural about the things mediums can do, it's part of us. There is nothing special about the capacity of the mind to move objects, or to know the future it is in our nature.

The very fact that we exist at all is the very fact that tells us we are not only capable of these emerging talents, but that these psychic phenomena are just another part of our genetic make up that are essential to our existence and evolution.

With this in mind then you have to ask yourself, what set of circumstances then put life on the only planet it could possibly survive on?  What gave us an awareness, why are we different from all other known life forms?

We could go on forever evaluating every set of coincidences from the day the earth was first formed to our present situation but we don't have to, even academics have been aware of a

conscious motivation behind these circumstances and are currently toying with the idea of proof of a universal consciousness.

To understand what we are we have to look at other forms on this planet, there are creatures that go through a metamorphic stage, the butterfly! Two stages of development after birth. There is a mould that turns into slug moves up to the top of a rubbish heap and then turns into a mushroom. The energy used to take this creature from three completely different physical stages is mind

blowing.

There are many elements that exist in different states, gasses change and we do not give them a second look but when it comes to our selves we consider only one aspect of our development

anything else is alien to us.

Inside us there is an abundance of energy, we exist as a physical collection of energy. Just like the rest of the universe we are a collection of molecules that are fused together by their own motion, making us physical.

There are however two aspects of a human being, one controlling the other, we have the physical being guided by the mind (which is intangible) we cannot physically hold or touch our minds. It is as substantial as smoke, although it lives in us and controls us, it is individual to each of us.

When the body dies, we the consciousness leave the skin and exist like the butterfly in a new form, that is not physical, it has no form because it is not attached to us, it is the driver of our car, if our car breaks down does the driver stay there and die? no, he gets out, takes the car to the scrap yard and shops around until he finds another car and continues his journey.

The driver can do this because he is not confined by the car, just borrowing it's form to move from A to B. The driver is not alien to us, he is simply off the road, he has now become a pedestrian, where the only energy he has is his own soul.
